The story

Victor Osimhen lead Napoli to the Serie A title last season, but this season has not started as positively for the striker. He missed a penalty in a draw with Bologna at the weekend, and unexpectedly the club's TikTok account seemingly mocked him in a video of the incident. 

Osimhen’s agent says they could take legal action while the striker has deleted photos of himself in Napoli shirt on his social media. 

Victor's agent has threatened legal action against Napoli following a social media video released by the club that appeared mocking its striker. 

The Serie A champions posted a video on their TikTok account which showed the striker missing that penalty against Bologna.

A high-pitched voice was dubbed over the video that then shows Osimhen putting the spot-kick wide away off the goal.

Reason

Some reports stated that the real reason behind the tension and unease between the striker and his team was due to the clash happening between him and hid manager, Rudi Garcia, after substituting him by the coach in the match against Bologna, the same match in which he missed the penalty.

Sheffield United Women's player Maddy Cusack dies at age of 27

Sheffield United midfielder, Maddy Cusack passed away on Wednesday September 20. The 27-year-old, who worked also as a marketing executive at the club, had made over 100 appearances since joining the Women's Championship club in 2019.

Sheffield United men's team intended to pay tribute to Cusack during Sunday's Premier League game against Newcastle, while her former clubs Burnley and Nottingham Forest have postponed their games this week.

However, as global temperatures continue to rise, the ice in Antarctica continues to melt. Researchers have found that plants on the continent are growing more quickly than the usual plants we know. 

Students of the University of Insubria, Italy, measured the growth of Antarctica's two native plants at a number of sites on Signy Island, in the South Orkney Islands, from 2009 to 2019. The Antarctic pearlwort moved faster, growing five times faster in the same periods of time.

Peter Convey touched on the impact of accelerated growth as he stated: “The most novel feature of this is not the idea that something is growing faster. It’s that we think we’re starting to see what is almost like a step change or a tipping point.”

Matthew Davey added: "Accelerated expansion is now clearly evident in the region. This research gives us the first comprehensive data set showing how fast and how dense the plant community may expand. ”
